A cosmetics firm asked that the filling, check weighing and packaging of a face powder product be automated. The process included the accumulation and feeding of the plastic components of the box along with a labeling operation. Volumetric filling was linked to real time check weighing of each container as a means to promote efficient filling and reduction of waste.
Insertion of a perforated dispensing cap and box and closing were done automatically. After closing the box the exterior was automatically brushed and vacuum cleaned. Once the boxes were closed they were arrayed and automatically loaded.....
